Shipping & Returns
Shipping is included in the listed price. The price shown beside each item is the final price you will have to pay on checkout.
Due to the nature of vintage clothing, I cannot accept returns. If at all possible I would encourage you to visit my shop in Rathcormac, County Sligo, Ireland. If you have any questions at all about a particular item, feel free to contact me and I will do my best to answer them. If you are looking for anything special, let me know. If it isn’t on my website, I may have it in the shop.
About the clothing:
All the items on my website will be anywhere from excellent vintage to mint condition. Excellent vintage may be something minor such as discoloured lining, or something that cannot be seen when wearing. Some of the clothes would benefit from a cleaning, but would not be necessary before wearing.
The 50s prom dresses may have minor repairs in the netting, as it is almost impossible to get them in mint condition unless they have never been worn.
Wedding Gowns-Some of the later gowns (1950s) came to me stored in Keepsek boxes, so they will have been cleaned and properly stored. The earlier ones may have the odd spot or surface dirt on the long trains. Nothing that cannot be taken care of at the drycleaners and the prices will reflect this.
Measurements-The most important measurement in vintage clothing would be the waist measurement, as the bust and hips would normally be 10-12 inches larger then the waist. Where possible I will give the current size, but as a guideline please go by the following:
XXS-waist 22/23-size 4
XS-waist 24/25-size 6
XS/S-waist 26/27-size 8
S-waist 28/29-size 10
S/M-waist 29/30-size 10/12
M-waist 31/32-size 12
M/L-waist 32/33-size 12/14
L-waist 34-14/16
XL-waist 35/36-size 16+
It would be best to measure a similar garment of your own to determine the fit, using a dressmakers measuring tape. If you have any questions about measurements, feel free to email me.
